Healthy Wealth aur Wealthy Health !

Today after a great struggle, I rejoined  my fitness classes. Yes, it is a universal truth that magic begins to happen beyond your comfort zone. I had ‘x’ number of reasons which kept procrastinating my decision to  workout but also when figured out , I had ‘20x’ reasons to do so and I did.

Better sorry than never. I know, few months from now, I will thank myself for taking the right decision.

We all know that taking care of our health and wealth are equally important.  The onus lies on us to take the Right decision at the Right time. Health and Financial health have a lot of things in common. We all work so hard for money ,  but have ever wondered are we taking enough actions to put our money work for us .

Sharing some of the facts which will motivate to strike back with enthusiasm:

It only takes first step to start up: The first step is the most important one. It is the most crucial and the most effective as it will initiate the direction you have chosen. In Health and wealth management, it is just about first step, once you have taken the first step , you will see the magic happening as you will be introduced to a new you who is better and improved.

Beginning is always difficult, Don’t give up: Beginning on any task is always difficult, if you give up then and there, you will not be able to get what you want from life.
And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. The end result is what that keeps you going. Keep your goals/ aspirations clear in your head, It can be the fit body or dream home or perfect retirement, the path will be easy.

Difficulty in catching up: In group workout, the new joinee will find it difficult to cope up with speed and stamina of the class but after few weeks, he will automatically go with the flow and start enjoying. Similarly, while taking charge of finances, doing consolidation, charting out goals, it may be difficult to catch up with what Financial advisor has to say, but with persistence and patience, the hassle will turn into enjoyment.
After few months, it  will become habit like bathing, eating etc and  you will look forward to going to gym or taking actions .Things will be on automatic mode.

Results will take some time: There are so many examples which can prove this. Tree growing from seed, Slow cooking gives delicious food like Kheer and Dal makhani and many more 🙂 .  All good things take their own sweet time and give results in due course. I will not lose 10 kgs in one month, neither will I get my retirement corpus in one year.

Later on in life, I don’t want to  be upset over results I did not get from the work I did not do.

One size does not fit all: It doesn’t mean if our buddy in gym is losing weight at faster pace than us with same inputs should discourage us. It is individual tendency and depends on body type, metabolism etc for time taken to lose weight.

When it comes to wealth management, the same set of rules for investment will not apply to all.Each one of us have different lifestyles, different source of incomes, different aspirations and different requirements.
So, according to one’s own size, the plan should be stitched.

Life will be much happier and better on all fronts: Working towards your goal will give you a life which is much happier and better. A sense of achievement will prevail.

A Healthy life means a Happy life ,  a happy life means a healthy life.
