Lights, Camera and No Action!!

Lights, Camera and No Action!!

This post is dedicated to investors out there who know what should be done, who have the resources by their side, but still there is no action happening in their Financial Lives.

Lights-Camera-Action-final.

Lights:  Thanks to internet, newspapers, magazines etc for giving us too much of everything. Investors have access to all the information they seek for their Financial apprehensions. Everyone is exposed to too much Light.

It’s our own call to live in rooms full of light or follow the darkness. On one side, we have so many options available to invest and on the other side, we have tools to look at it with 3D approach. For example: We have online calculators to determine how much investment is required if we want to lead the same lifestyle post retirement in product of our own choice. We have the right amount of light which is required to shoot a scene.

Camera: Camera here is referred to resources one has. We have a choice to put camera to work or keep it idle. If we put it to work and focus on our goals, it is surely going to give a good end result. It is going to give some good pictures which we will cherish for lifetime. Keeping it idle will only lead to lose its sheen over years.

“Having money has not made anyone rich, putting it in the right place has.”

We work so hard for money, let it work harder for us by parking it at the right place.

No Action: Having Lights and camera by our side should be enough for us to take actions.

“It is not What you know or what you think, Its what you DO with what you know and Think. “

Its good to dream, but its better to Plan for it, work towards it.

Not taking actions or delaying actions has a cost attached. This cost is directly related to the amount of delay. For example: For retirement, if one delays in taking action to invest, he will have to compromise on his lifestyle post retirement.

“You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.”
– Rabindranath Tagore

So, are we still looking at water or identifying right way to cross the sea?
